Terry L. Reeves, 73, of Greencastle, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 2, 1952, in Greencastle to the late Howard Reeves and Helen (Hixon) Cox, Terry lived a life marked by faith, service, and devotion to those he loved.
Terry proudly served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. After his military service, he continued to dedicate himself to his community through his work with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. He was also a proud member of the Cloverdale American Legion and a faithful member of Manhattan Christian Church, where he found strength and fellowship.
On February 12, 1993, Terry married the love of his life, Catherine A. Reeves, who survives him. Together, they shared more than three decades of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Terry is also survived by his children, Darla Fields (husband Dayle), Terry Reeves (wife Angela), and Cathe Sue Green (husband Jim); twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Charles Reeves (wife Becky), Penny Sullivan (husband Bill), Sandy Owen (husband Richard), and Lori Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his beloved stepchildren, Frank A. Morgan and Christine M. Morgan.
Terry will be remembered for his kind heart, steadfast faith, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. His legacy lives on in the lives of all who were fortunate to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, in the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
