Terry A. Atkerson

Terry A. Atkerson, age 73 of Cloverdale passed away July 1st, 2024. He was born April 3rd, 1951, to the late Homer and Wilma (Thacker) Atkerson.

He worked for the Owen County Highway Department until his retirement in 2013.

Terry is survived by his wife Rita (Wilson) Atkerson; children Jessica Lawson of Liberty, IN, Jason (Jenny) Atkerson of Cloverdale; sisters Sue Williamson, Debra Carter, Patsy Pitts.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Luthe and brother Leon Atkerson.

Funeral services for Terry will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday July 9th, 2024, at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
