Sylvia I. Query

              Sylvia I. Query, age 86 of Greencastle, passed away July 27th, 2022.  She was born August 17th, 1935 in Reelsville to the late Ren and Faye (Giltz)McCullough.  She married Chester Query August 9th, 1953 and he survives. 

She worked for South Putnam Schools as treasurer for nearly forty years.  She was a member of the Greencastle Eastern Star and was past worthy matron, and a lifetime member of the Greencastle Ladies Auxiliary. 

                In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Rick Query and his wife June.  Grandchildren, Melanie Myers and husband Chuck.  David Query and his wife Donicca, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  Also, several nieces and nephews.

                Funeral Services for Sylvia will be held Thursday, August 4th, 20221 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Entombment will take place following services at Cloverdale Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
