Sue Ellen Abney, age 76 of Quincy passed away December 6th, 2020.
She was born August 20th, 1944 to the late Blossie and Mamie (Miller) Whobrey.
Sue married William Abney October 8th,1961 and he precedes her in death.
She is survived by her children Tommy Joe Abney and Verna (Ronnie) Brashear; sisters Geraldine Gay and Martha Jane Monroe, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by her granddaughter Kayla Abney; brother Fred Whobrey; sisters oberta Comb’s and Lou Knox.
Funeral services for Sue will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday December 10th, 2020 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. With visitation from 11:00 am until the service time of 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
