Shirley F. Glassburn

             Shirley F. Glassburn, age 73 of Cloverdale, passed away January 3rd, 2024.  She was born October 10th,1950 in Rosebud, Arkansas to the late Edgar J. and Lester Emmerline (Pruitt)Boyd.  She married George R. Glassburn December 14th, 1978 and he survives.  She enjoyed outdoor events, traveling, casino trips, playing cards and games with family and friends.

              In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Paul Snow of Springfield, VA, Wendy(Chad) Fye, Jamie(Jeremiah) Jackson, Michael(Paige) Glassburn.  Grandchildren, Ty Snow, Brooklynn(Camden) Fye, Dylan Fye, Kenadie Jackson, Easton Chambers, Aubree Chambers, Gavyn Glassburn, and Korbyn Glassburn.  She is also survived by her brother Darrell Boyd in New Port Richey, Florida.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Wilburn Boyd.

              Visitation for Shirley will be held Saturday, January 6th, 2024 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 8th, 2024 at 11:00am, Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until service time held at Murray-Weaver Funeral Home, Galveston, Indiana. Burial will follow at the Galveston Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Guardian Angel Hospice, gahfoundation.org. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
