Shirley Ann (Burnham) Allen

Shirley A. Allen, age 83 of Indianapolis, passed away November 14th, 2025. She was born October 6th, 1942, to the late Gilbert Burnham and Francis (Bill) Beams.

Shirley married Paul LeRoy Allen on September 17th, 1960 and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children Robin Lawson of Indianapolis, Doug (Sandra) Allen of Centerpoint, Kelly (Brent) Urton of Reelsville, Candace Childress of Greencastle; sisters Deb (Jim) Rosing of Anderson, Diana Hood of Greencastle; brother Bud (Vicky) Beams; 8 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she is also preceded in death by her son Timothy Lee Allen; grandchildren Kyle Allen, Ashley Allen, Kendra Allen, Nikki Wilson; siblings Sharon Micallef, William Burnham.

A Memorial service for Shirley will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday November 22nd, 2025 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service time of 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
