Ronald"Ronnie" B. Phelps

Ronald B. Phelps, 74, of Cloverdale, Indiana, passed away on October 24, 2025. He was born on August 23, 1951, in Martinsville, Indiana, to the late Darius and Mildred (Wilson) Phelps.

Ronnie was a proud truck driver for most of his life, known for his hardworking nature and deep connections with those he met on the road. His love for talking with people was a defining characteristic, and he found great joy in working around his home—especially mowing the grass and tending to his yard. Ronnies greatest joy, however, came from his family.

He was married to Angela (Collins) Phelps on December 13, 2009, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Toni Phelps; his stepchildren, Bud Adkins, Jesse Johnson, and Sherry Johnson; as well as 10 grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends who will remember him for his kindness, humor, and wanting things done his way.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale, Indiana. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at Hall Cemetery, Hall, Indiana.
