Robert "Bob" Corns Obituary

Robert “Bob” W. Corns, age 83 of Quincy, passed away October 5th, 2025, at home with family by his side.

He was born April 18th, 1942, to the late Ensie Virgil and Bertha Marie (Smiley) Corns.

Robert married Joan (Giddings) Corns June 15th, 1963, and she survives.

Robert worked at IBM for 26 years before retiring. In addition, he was a lifetime farmer and a member of the Millgrove United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughters Robin (Charles) Hallam, Karen (Tony) Neibold; grandchildren Amber Marie (Zach) Hallam, Christin Joan (Nick) Hathorn, Anthony Robert Neibold; great-grandchild Gunner Robert Minnick.

A private family only graveside service will be held for Robert. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
