Robert O. Strunk

                Robert “Bob” O. Strunk, passed away July 22nd, 2021.  He was born September 29th, 1927 to the late Hobert and Myrtle (Johnson)Strunk in Oolitic, Indiana.  He married Florence E. (Hicks)Strunk in 1982 and preceded him in death in 1997.  He worked on the railroad for many years as a inspector until his retirement. 

                He is survived by his children Robert Strunk Jr., Beatrice Hook and husband Donald, Thelma Karch, Elizabeth Moore, and Leonard Griever.  Also survived are several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.  Siblings Jerry Strunk, Tony Strunk, Patsi Dayhuff, Regina Kinser, Katie Farmer, and Carolyn Strunk.  In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his siblimngs Cecil Strunk, and Jodi King.

                Visitation will be held Monday July 26th, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at 11:00am with burial to follow at Fairfield Cemetery in Camby.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
