Robert V. Rich Jr.

Robert “Bob” V. Rich Jr., age 68 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord September 11th, 2024.  He was born December 15th, 1955 in Robinson, Illinois to Robert Sr. and Shirley (Wesner)Rich.  He married Kimberly (Ellis)Rich October 27th, 1984 and she survives.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and retired from the Dept. of Defense as a computer programmer.  He was a devoted husband, father, and papaw.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his parents Vaughn and Shirley Rich, daughters Elizabeth Perry and husband Robert, Emma Hofmann and husband Daniel, Grandchildren, Evelyn Hofmann, Abigail Perry, and Amelia Perry.  Siblings, Karen McCarter and husband Robin, Mark Rich, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Rich. 

Visitation will be held where friends and family can visit Thursday, September 19th, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.  A private burial service will be back in his hometown Flat Rock, Illinois at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to Legacy Elite Academy at 1415 W. U.S. Hwy 40, Clayton, IN 46118 or to the Bethesda Christian School at 7858 N. County Rd 650 E.
