Robert S. Atkins I, of Cloverdale passed away April 21st, 2020. He was born April 12th, 1941 in Raleigh, West Virginia to the late Charles and Lois (Hendricks)Atkins. He married Kay (Price)Atkins July 17th, 1971 and she survives. Robert was a great husband, father, grandfather, and man. He was painter in the Local #47 for over forty years and served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children Robert S. Atkins II and his wife Debra, and Katherine Denise Hatfield and husband Brian. Five grandchildren Robert Atkins III, Trey Atkins-Combs, Samantha Hatfield, Candy Redman, and Kegan Knust. and 4 great grandchildren Rosalynn Atkins, Jagger Means, KK Knust, and Jasmine Rodman. He is also survived by his 6 sister in-laws, and 6 brother in-laws. In addition to his father Charles Atkins he was preceded in death by his brothers JW Atkins and Raymond Atkins.
