Oressa Ann (Rice) Bright

Oressa Ann Bright, age 89 of Greencastle, passed away Tuesday, September 16th, 2025.

She was born May 30th, 1936, to the late Charleton H. and Lenna M. (Henrey) Rice.

Oressa married Walter Bright Jr. July 28th, 1956, married for 69 years, and he survives. 

She is also survived by her sons Michael Scott Bright, David Christopher (Sue) Bright, Timothy Alan (Brenda) Bright, Charles Andrew Bright; brother Leroy Whittington; grandchildren Jamie (Elijah) Pressman, Sara (Kurt) Miles, Nick (Sarah) Bright, Jesse bright, Michelle (Ronnie) Simpsons; 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her sisters Mary Huckabee and Barbara Sanders.
