Nancy L. Schopmeyer

Nancy L. Schopmeyer, age 78 of Clay City, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away February 19th, 2024.  She was born April 24th, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to the late Maryleen (Stockdale)Heinz.  She married Ronald A. Schopmeyer December 18th, 1976 and he survives.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She was also a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cunot.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Soni Hagymasi and husband Ted of Cloverdale, Tammy Grundlock and husband Ken of Coatesville, Hope Rush of Poland, Doug Schopmeyer and wife Dawn of Clay City, Debbie Floyd and husband Keith of Clay City.  Eighteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandkids, and three great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her siblings Allen Carney, and David Carney. 

Graveside Services for Nancy will be held Thursday, February 22nd at 1:00pm, Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale, IN.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
