Morris G. Hurst

Morris G. Hurst, age 95, of Belle Union, passed away June 3rd, 2024. He was born March 14th, 1929, in Belle Union to the late George and Ada (McCammack) Hurst. He married Wanda (Eastham) Hurst on March 11, 1949 and they shared 73 wonderful years together until her passing on December 5th, 2022.

Morris is survived by his children, Janice McCammack and husband David of Belle Union and Marshall and wife Beverly of Coatesville, as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Wanda, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Christy Lynn, and three brothers, Carl Hurst, Loyd Hurst and Paul Allen Hurst and four sisters, Helen Elrod, Freda Parker, Jean Staley, and Lillian Arnold.

Private family services were held and burial was in the New Providence Cemetery.
