Mary E. Ferguson

Mary E. Ferguson, age 91, of Cloverdale, passed away June 5, 2026. She was born October 28, 1934, in Chalmers, Indiana, to the late Oakel H. and Opal (Weaver) Fuller.

She married Eugene M. Yount June 14th, 1953 and preceded Mary in death August 4th, 1976. She married Kenneth Dale Ferguson on November 23, 1978, and he survives.

Mary served as the Postmaster in Cloverdale for many years and was a member of Eminence Christian Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marilyn Kilgore and husband Roger, Diane Neibold, Larry Yount and wife Kim, Janice James, Vanessa Bouchie, and Kathy Gore and husband Doug; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Jack Yount and Randy Ferguson; son-in-laws Will Neibold, Robert James, Dave Bouchie; granddaughter, Jessica Zvaifler; great-granddaughter, McKenna Yount; sister, Judith Bartlett; and brother, Maurice Fuller.

Funeral services for Mary will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private graveside service for family only will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
