Martha A. (Seller) O'Neal

Martha A. O’Neal, age 94 of Greencastle passed away October 14th, 2024. With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Martha O'Neal of Greencastle, Indiana. She was the beloved wife of the late Archie O'Neal, a devoted mother to John O'Neal (May) and Polly Carter (Marvin), and a cherished grandmother to Dana and Thomas Carter, (Allison) and Ryan O'Neal and Angie Potter.

Martha’s sharp wit and dry sense of humor endeared her to everyone who knew her. Her wisdom and warmth will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories of all who loved her.

Martha is the last surviving member from the Bell Union class and was the oldest member of New Providence church. Her legacy will live on in the passing on of her land to her future generations.

She was born December 27th, 1929 to the late Hubert and Gladys (Sallust) Seller.

Martha married Archie L. O’Neal May 7th, 1949 and he preceded her in death January 5th, 2021.

A Graveside service for Martha will be held at New Providence Cemetery Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at 11:00 am. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
