Lyndall D. Bixler

Lyndall D. (Haltom) Bixler, age 81 of Cloverdale, passed away August 12th, 2022. She was born April 22nd,1941 in Cloverdale to the late Leon “Mike” Haltom and Ione (Clupper) Haltom Smythe. Her world revolved around children, and she took immense pride in her 45 years educating and nurturing children as a beloved instructional assistant at Cloverdale Elementary School, in addition to being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Lyndall is survived by her daughters Jacque Minnick and husband Mike of Cloverdale, Tricia Costin and husband Rob of Greencastle, Sandi Price of Cloverdale, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and brother Glenn “Lannie/Chops” Haltom and wife Jana. 

In addition to her parents, Lyndall was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Jack Bixler, infant daughter Jennifer Bixler, son-in-law Darin Price, granddaughter Mariah (Herron) Moore, and siblings Charlene Freeman, Jon “Toot” Haltom, Gary Haltom, Patti Paris, and Mardenna Boler.

Funeral Services for Lyndall will be held Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at 11:00am, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19th, 2022 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Cloverdale Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
