Lou Ellen Knox

Lou Ellen Knox, age 75 of Poland, Passed away October 9th, 2019.

Born August 20th, 1944 in Edmonson, Kentucky to the late Blossie and Mamie (Miller) Whobrey.

Lou married Joseph Knox October 22nd, 1965 and he preceded her in death February 8th, 2012.

She is survived by her children Lisa Ann Johnson of Lebanon, IN, Elizabeth JoAnn Carroll of Poland, IN, Richard Joe Knox of Poland, IN, Ruthie Knox of Gosport, IN, and Edward Patrick Knox of Avon, IN; sisters Sue Abney, Geraldine Gay, and Martha Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her grandson Joseph Hord; brother Fredrick Whobrey; sister Oberta Combs.

Visitation for Lou will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm Monday, October 14th, 2019 with funeral services starting at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
