Lorie Lynn (Allen) Casteel

Lorie Lynn Casteel, age 51 of Indianapolis passed away Monday May 6th, 2024.

She was born March 14th, 1973, to Charles and Anna (Collins) Allen.

Lorie is survived by her daughter Kayla Casteel; mother Anna Allen; sisters Nancy Nickerson, Tricia (Tony) Migliano, Sharon (Todd) Stierwalt, LeeAnn (Billy) Boswell; brothers Chuck (Terri) Allen, Brian Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Charles Allen.

Lorie enjoyed flowers and gardening; she was incredibly supportive of her daughter Kayla. She loved Kayla’s dog Piper and their dog Sammie who passed away in October of 2023. Lorie was very outspoken and spoke her mind unapologetically. She was a selfless person and if she loved you or cared for you, she would do anything for you.

Funeral services for Lorie will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday May 9th, 2024 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
