Larry M. Neeley

Larry Marvin Neeley, 80, left this life to be with the Lord and his wife of 51 years, Ivyl Kay Neeley, on Friday, November 6, 2020.  Larry was born in Greencastle, IN, the son of Emma (Butler) and Charles Neeley.  Larry was raised by his loving stepmother, Stella Neeley. 

Larry was a member of New Providence Baptist Church since 1976, and retired from the Carpenters Union after 40+ years hanging and finishing drywall.  Most of those years were side by side with his brother, Earl Neeley, who survives.

Survivors include two children: Rhonda (Jim) Fisher, Greencastle, IN; Darren (Rachel) Neeley, Columbus, IN. Six grandchildren: Tela (Gabby) Fisher, Trista (David) Dilley, Tosha (Ronald) Willyard, Rose Neeley, Nick Neeley and Thomas Neeley. Four great grandchildren: Kelsey, Raylea, Matthew and Abby, and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and stepmother, 2 brothers, Donald and Jimmy Neeley; 2 sons: Randy Neeley and Eugene Neeley, and a great grandson: Blake Dilley.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale on Saturday Nov. 7, 2020, where Larry will lay side by side with his wife before their final journey home.  Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral services starting at 1pm. Burial will follow the service at New Providence Cemetery.
