Judy J. Fitzsimmons

   Judy Joanne Fitzsimmons of Greencastle, Indiana, passed away peacefully  Thursday, May 20th.  She was a lifelong resident of the area; having been born in Clay County, Indiana April 18th, 1945.  
     Before her health deteriorated, Judy loved the outdoors; gardening, mushroom hunting, fishing, walking in the woods, and long drives in the country.  Though not widely known, she was a passionate writer and poet; having won awards for some of her works.
     She is survived by her husband Russell Fitzsimmons (Greencastle), daughter, Leanne and Tim Lawless (Bainbridge), son, Scott and Amy Fitzsimmons (Greenville, SC), son, Gary Dean Fitzsimmons (Albuquerque, NM), ten grandchildren; Jeremy (Angela) Lawless, Nathaniel (Ashley) Lawless, Joshua (Christen) Lawless, Ryan (Joshua) Perrin, Kylie (Braxton) Fields, Abigayle (Juniper) Fitzsimmons, Zachary Fitzsimmons, Jacob (Halie) Capps, Nicholas (Jessica) Capps, Samantha (Eli) Capps,  nine great grandchildren; LilliAnn, Deegan, Phoenix, Sophia, Lincoln, Liam, Elijah, Nicholas, and Paisley, one brother, William (Bonnie) Archer, two sisters Barbara Fredrick, and Evejean Hutton; several nieces, nephews, and various other relations.
     She was precede in death by her parents, three brothers, and two daughters Faye Carroll, and Faith Marie Capps.

A small private celebration of life will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
