John L. Hunsicker

                John Lewis Hunsicker, age 54 of Clay City, passed away August 24th, 2023.  He was born in Brazil, Indiana October 30th, 1968 to the late Walter L. and Jesse J. (McClure)Hunsicker.  He married Lisa (Highsmith)Hunsicker July 3rd, 1990 and she survives.  He loved to play music and was a bassist in the rock band Dead Giveaway for 20 years.

                In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Michael(Amanda) Hunsicker, Monica(Brock) Dalton, Tavish Hunsicker, and Taylor Hunsicker.  Siblings, Marie(John) Arnold, Lucille(Mike) White, Virgil Hunsicker, Kate(Hank) Liszewski, Karen Hunsicker, Mike(Reatha) Hunsicker, and James Hunsicker. Also, his four grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Daniel Hunsicker, and Viola Hunsicker.

                Funeral Services for John will be held Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Burial will follow in the Cloverdale Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
