Ida Mildred (Mitchell) Sutherlin

Ida Mildred Sutherlin, 94 of Greencastle went to be with the Lord August 14th, 2019.

Born September 22nd, 1924 in Clairmont, IN to the late James and Bessie (Page) Mitchell.

Mildred married Robert Sutherlin April 28th, 1945 and he preceded her in death July 1st, 2009.

She is survived by her sons Roger Sutherlin and his wife Paula of Greencastle, and Gordon Sutherlin and his wife Cynthia of Quitman, Arkansas; daughter Teresa Parker and her husband Rusty of Dover Arkansas; brothers Charles Mitchell and Jerry Mitchell; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her daughter Luanne Golden; great-grandson Riley Sutherlin; brothers Alva Mitchell, Carl Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Durbin Mitchell, Russel Mitchell, Nelson Mitchell, and Milford Mitchell.

Funeral services for Mildred will be at 11:00 am Saturday August 17th, 2019 at Whitaker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in a family cemetery south of Mt. Meridian.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until the service time Saturday and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday August 16th, 2019 at the funeral home.
