Gale Leo Frye

Gale Leo Frye, age 74 of Scottsville, Kentucky passed away August 31st, 2022.

He was born March 13th, 1948 to the late Gale and Letha (James) Frye.

He loved fishing, camping, hunting. He was a career Roofer and a family man. Loved to joke and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help others in need. He was a combat infantryman and military police in the United States Army.

Gale is survived by his children Gale Long, Michelle Frye, Missy Frye, Kim Frye, Mike Miller, and Lillian Hanson; siblings Gary Frye, Billy Frye, Rodger Frye, John David, Donna Spencer, Robert “Toby” Frye, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts.

Funeral services for Gale will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday September 6th, 2022 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service time of 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
