Evelyn Fern Miller

Evelyn Fern Miller, age 90, of Greencastle, went to be with the Lord March 26th, 2025.  She was born in Coalinga, California June 20th, 1934 to the late Clyde and Harriet (Cummings)Apple. She married Richard Duane Miller October 28th, 1955 and he preceded her in death March 17th, 2012.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother as well as devoted to her faith.

She is survived by her children Nancy F. Wenzinger of Rogers, Arkansas; Rodney D. Miller of Salinas, California; and Susan G. Gulley and husband Paul A.Gulley of Greencastle.  She has five grandchildren, Cory Gulley, Carrie Bottoms, Leah Greenwell, Tracy Wenzinger, and Rebecca Miller.  Five great-grandchildren Shaine Bottoms, Abel Gulley, Lucy Greenwell, Charlotte Gulley, and Rory Bottoms.  Siblings are Malcom J. Apple of Coalinga, California, and two sister in laws Carolyn Miller and Phyllis Tomasino.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers Raymond Apple and Emmet Vern Apple.  Sisters, Clydene Raxler and Melba Valencia.

Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held Friday, March 28th,2025 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
