Doris June (Cox) Knauer

Doris J. Knauer, age 88 of Greencastle, passed away November 22, 2023. She was born January 3rd, 1935 to the late Clayton and Winnie (Davis) Cox.

She married William E. Knauer February 24th, 1951 and he preceded her in death January 3rd, 2012.

Doris is survived by her son Michael E. Knauer of Greencastle; daughter June E. (Rick) Query of Reelsville; sisters Barbara Stewart, Bernice Morgan; brother Jerry (Wilma) Cox; 8 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren; and her little dog Pepper.

In addition to her husband and parents she is also preceded in death by her daughter Diane Allee; sister Betty Bruner; brother Russell Cox.

Funeral services will be held for Doris at 1:00 pm Saturday December 9th, 2023, at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
