Donald K. Walton

Donald K. Walton, age 86 of Cloverdale, passed away April 6th, 2025. He was born in 

Cloverdale on November 16th, 1938, to the late George R. and Kathleen (Cooksey) Walton. 

He married Mary Micalene (Sinclair) Walton June 30th, 1961, and she survives. He served his 

country in the United States Army. He was a bricklayer and owned Walton Stove Sales for 

many years in Cloverdale. He was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ, as well as 

served many years as a Putnam County Commissioner for the Cloverdale area. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Donald Waylon Walton (Jennifer), 

Candace Regina Anderson (Scott), and Mitchell Keith Walton. Grandchildren, Cameron 

Chestnut, Ryan Chestnut, Derek Chestnut, Isabella Walton, and Nolan Walton. Brothers Mike 

Walton (Maryann), Dave Walton (Pam) and Sister-In-Law Sharon Salsman (Larry). 

Services for Don will be private with family in attendance.
