David R. Taylor

David R. Taylor, 79, passed away October 19th, 2025.  He was born on Aug. 8, 1946, in Indianapolis and was the son of 

Herbert R. and Emma J. (Lovell) Taylor.  

He was employed at National Printing Plate in Indianapolis and a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam Era. 

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  

Visitation will be on Wednesday, 2025 from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm at the funeral home.   

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Taylor; his daughters, Cindy Fouty (Tim) and Debbie Lutz; sisters, Dona Pierce and Peggy 

Davidson; brother, Joseph Taylor; 4 grandchildren, Shelbi Slack (Colt), Lindsey Williams (Tyler), Caleb Fouty (Rose) and Jameson

 Lutz; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert Taylor and Donald Taylor; and sisters, Betty Aldridge, Mary Choat, Ruth 

Clatterbuck and Emma Cruea.   He was an avid runner, that ran in several half and full marathons and spent a lot of quality time with
