Billy E. Steele Sr.

Billy E. Steele Sr., age 91 of Cloverdale, IN passed away June 3rd, 2024. He was born February 6th, 1933 in Huntington, IN to the late Earl and Eva (Farthing) Steele. He worked for many years for International Harvester, among other places, until his retirement.

He is survived by his brother Dale Steele and wife Betty Jo, of Charlestown, IN, sister Janett (Steele) Massey of Ft. Wayne, IN. Children: Billy Steele Jr. of Seminole, FL, Robert Steele and wife Pam, of Cloverdale, IN, Michael Steele and wife Beth, of Pittsboro, IN, Judy (Steele) O’Donoghue and husband John, of Newburgh, IN, and Kenneth Steele and wife Brenda, of Manhattan, IN, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son James and brothers Charles and David.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at 12:30pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time. Burial will follow at the Doe Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cloverdale Dollars for Scholars, in memory of Billy E. Steele Sr.
