Barbara S. (Jackson) Higgins

Barbara S. Higgins, age 82 of Greencastle passed away May 18th, 2023.

She was born February 4th, 1941 to the late Richard and Mamie (Morgan) Jackson.

Barbara married Charles Higgins August 29th, 1959 and he preceded her in death May 17th, 2014.

She is survived by her children DeElla Keith, Terre Haute, IN, Charles Higgins and wife Stacey, Cloverdale, IN, Terry Tuttle and husband Bob, Greencastle, IN, Tina Spencer and husband Fred, Bainbridge, IN, Robert Higgins, Greencastle, IN, Heather Fauber and husband Brian, Greencastle, IN. Mrs. Higgins had 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she is also preceded in death by her sister Margaret Boswell.

Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 3:00 pm Monday May 22nd, 2023 at Whitaker funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time of 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at whitakerfuneralhome.net
