Alice M. Haltom

Alice Marie (Galloway)Haltom, age 85, of Cloverdale, Indiana, passed away May 5, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Alice was born July 18, 1940 in Indianapolis to the late John and Mary (Myers) Galloway.

Alice graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1958, where she met the love of her life, Kenny Haltom. They were married October 10, 1958 and were able to enjoy 72 years together, enjoying traveling, fishing, and spending time with their family.

Alice is survived by her husband, Kenny; two daughters, Kellie Lewis(Jeff Lukemeyer) and Lisa (Allan)Spugnardi; three grandchildren Kelsey(Kyle) Brown, Hannah(Alex) Suits, and Chad (Aly) Spugnardi; six great-grandchildren, Cori & Levi Brown, Ruger Suits and River, Daphne and Luca Spugnardi, two sisters Mary Ann Steele, and Rebecca Howard. Sister-in-law Sharon Galloway and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Joe Galloway and Barbara Kennison; and son-in-law John Lewis.

Alice faithfully attended the Cloverdale Church of Christ and the Greencastle Christian Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, Brown Avenue, Cloverdale. Brother AJ will be officiating the service.  Burial will follow at Mannan Cemetery, Cty. Rd. 300 N. Quincy, IN. Arrangements were entrusted to Whitaker Funeral Home.
