Albert "Al" Simpson

Albert “Al” C. Simpson, age 88 of Reelsville, passed away November 14th, 2023.  He was born September 9th, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late John Simpson and Winnie (Barbee)Bell.  He married Maureen C. Simpson September 21st, 1963 and she preceded him in death August 10th, 2014.

Al was a retired Truck Driver a member of the Teamsters and a member of the Moose Lodge in Greencastle.

He is survived by his daughters Cathy (George) Miller of Greencastle and Pamela (Mike) Bowman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents he is also preceded in death by his daughters Cindy Lou Young and Wendy Sue Simpson; stepson Michael A. Simpson.

Funeral services for Al will be held at 1:00 pm Monday November 20th, 2023 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
